Broker Checker helps users view broker-related information while browsing broker websites. We take privacy seriously and aim to collect the minimum data needed to provide the extension’s functionality.
We do not collect personal data. Broker Checker does not collect, sell, or share:
To detect broker websites and show relevant information, the extension may process the current tab’s domain locally on your device. This domain is used to request publicly available broker review data.
Broker Checker stores small non-personal settings locally (for example, dismissed alerts) to avoid repeatedly showing the same popup.
If enabled by Chrome permissions, the extension may show notifications when broker information changes (e.g., warnings, regulation status, rating, offers).
Broker Checker requests publicly available broker review information from reviewbrokers.net. The request includes the broker domain being checked. We do not attach your identity to these requests.
Broker Checker does not include advertising, analytics SDKs, or third-party tracking scripts.
Any local settings stored by the extension remain on your device and can be cleared by removing the extension or clearing extension data via Chrome settings.
